Move for investment manager

Andrew Chaffer
Investment Manager Andrew Chaffer, who worked with Rotherham-based South Yorkshire Investment Fund (SYIF) has moved on to pastures new.
Andrew, who worked on the SYIF Small Business Fund for nearly four years, and was employed by UKSE Fund Managers Limited, has started a new role as Regional Manager for City Invoice Finance Limited. He is now based in Sheffield but is still covering businesses in the South Yorkshire sub region.
Andrew said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working on the Small Business Fund. In my new role I will continue to work with many small to medium sized businesses in South Yorkshire. My aim is to continue to help growing businesses to obtain the necessary financial funding. I am looking forward to continuing my work within the county.
Tony Goulbourn, Chief Executive of SYIF, added: "SYIF wants to thank Andrew for all of his hard work over the past four years and we wish him all the best for the future."

About South Yorkshire Investment Fund
South Yorkshire Investment Fund provided seedcorn, loan and equity linked investments, ranging from £15k to £2.5m, specifically to help small and medium businesses meet the gaps in funding they need for growth and development.
Created as part of the Objective 1 programme, the Fund is a private and public sector business finance provider. The European Regional Development Fund and Yorkshire Forward are investors in the Fund.
South Yorkshire Investment Fund also provided access to Business Angel investments from the Yorkshire Association of Business Angels and Microloans through BiG Business Loan Fund and Donbac Microloan Fund.
Finance Yorkshire has now taken on responsibility for providing gap finance in Yorkshire and the Humber.
