SYIF Profile Autumn 2008 Newsletter

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the latest edition of Profile.

I am pleased we are able to celebrate the 20th edition of this newsletter helping to keep you informed of the investments made by South Yorkshire Investment Fund as well as the success stories of companies in the region.

The publication has been a vital tool for SYIF and in this time of change will continue to be useful in bringing you the latest developments on the Fund.

An example of this is the front page story which highlights Yorkshire Forward's decision to provide an additional £4 million to ensure SYIF can continue to make investments until the end of 2008.

We also highlight the success of our recent intermediary update events which helped to inform the businesses and individuals that SYIF works closely alongside of the latest developments as well as giving them feedback on the intermediary research that was recently commissioned.

Plus, SYIF's partnership with Donbac Microloan, which provides funding for new companies when they need it.

As with every edition of Profile we like to highlight the companies who have received support from SYIF. This edition includes software developers GWD Media, Develop-U who specialise in business improvement techniques, food business Delicious Alchemy and printing company Intoprint.
