Welcome to South Yorkshire Investment Fund

Here is our Summer 2007 newsletter:

Profile Summer 2007 Newsletter

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the latest edition of Profile.

We've completed our first Seedcorn Fund deal with Sheffield-based Bibcom and are looking forward to seeing the business grow with the help of this funding. You can find out more by reading our lead article.

If you didn't manage to attend our recent launch of the pilot Seedcorn Fund - you can read all about it in this edition of Profile. We had a really successful launch at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham, and I'm sure all of our visitors found the briefing event really useful. Now we are asking our introducers to help us locate the early stage technology and knowledge-based businesses in South Yorkshire who can benefit from this fund.

The SYIF staff have also received a pat on the back after the organisation received the seal of approval for first class customer service. SYIF has just achieved the Putting the Customer First® quality assurance standard and passed the assessment with flying colours first time - something which only twenty-five percent of organisations usually achieve. Quite an achievement indeed.

Also in this newsletter we look at a range of companies who have benefited from SYIF investments across the South Yorkshire region.

We do hope you enjoy reading this latest edition of Profile.

Regards

Tony Goulbourn
Chief Executive
South Yorkshire Investment Fund Ltd
