Organised by: Connect Yorkshire, sponsored by South Yorkshire Investment Fund
Part of Connect Yorkshire's Investor Readiness Programme building up to the Autumn Investment Forum
If you don't know where to start when searching for the best type of finance for your company, then this workshop, designed for young technology companies, will help answer your queries.
Our speakers will talk you through the current private and public sector support available on a regional and national level. You will get an understanding of what living in the European classification area 'Objective one' could mean to your business and the grants or funding that is available. You will also learn about venture capital and business angel funding, along with the due diligence they apply, so you hopefully have a clearer idea as to the best option for your own business.
Our workshops are designed with an interactive element, to encourage discussion and ideas amongst delegates. Refreshments will be served on arrival and the workshop itself will be followed by a buffet with wine, allowing plenty of time for networking. Should you wish, you can also attend the fourth workshop ‘Effective Negotiation Skills’ which immediately follows the buffet.
Who Should Attend?
The workshops are aimed at technology and knowledge-based businesses with growth ambitions. All workshops are free to anyone wanting to learn about the investment process or who is keen to understand the financial options available to their business.
If you want to maximise you chances of raising finance and do all you can to ensure your business achieves its potential, register now for all or any of these events: Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Tel: 0113 384 5640
