Profile Winter 2007 Newsletter

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the latest edition of Profile.

I would like to take this opportunity of wishing all of our readers a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.

We've some great news in this winter edition of our newsletter, including how SYIF has now invested over £35 million in businesses in South Yorkshire.

The current Fund has shown how successful and important the investment in businesses throughout South Yorkshire can be. I am pleased to say that South Yorkshire Investment Fund will achieve its targets for financial returns and exceed most of the set economic outcomes.

I am also pleased to announce that SYIF was the winner of the Wake Smith Regeneration Award at the recent Sheffield Business Awards. The Fund has also supported the business awards in Rotherham and Doncaster by sponsoring the Business Growth and Most Innovative Business awards respectively.

There's also news on how companies have used SYIF funding to help them grow and how they have used mentors from our Mentorbank to give them the additional help and advice they needed to help them go on to even more success.

We do hope you enjoy reading this latest edition of Profile.

Regards

Tony Goulbourn
Chief Executive
South Yorkshire Investment Fund Ltd
