Seedcorn Fund £50k to £500k
Edward French, Fund Manager, has extensive technology experience. In 2002 he Joined Enterprise Ventures to help close the RisingStars Growth Fund and has made around 14 investments in early-stage technology companies. Prior to Enterprise Ventures, Ed was the Managing Director of a Yorkshire-based university spin-out consultancy company, and has served as Chairman of UNICO, the UK universities’ spin-out organisation. Ed won a sponsorship from the National Engineering Laboratory to study Engineering Science at Cambridge, and has an MBA from the Bradford School of Management. Ashwin Kumaraswamy, Investment Manager, joined Enterprise Ventures in 2008 and has a technology background having held previous positions focusing on the commercialization of intellectual property from UK universities and the analysis of technology markets. Ashwin holds a BE in Electronics and Communication and an MSc in System on Chip and was a Chevening Technology Enterprise Fellow in 2004/05.
Mike works on completing deals and managing a portfolio of investments for the Seedcorn Fund. An experienced early-stage venture capitalist with previous investment roles with Alliance Fund Managers (with the Liverpool Seed Fund) and Finance Wales' Equity Fund, he joined Enterprise Ventures in 2009. Mike has led more than 40 transactions across a range of sectors and disciplines including software, high-end engineering and life science.
